Abstract

Eloisa MD Penna (2005) representing the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, Brazilian Society of Analytical Psychology and the Brazilian Psychotherapy Association presented a work entitled THE JUNGIAN PARADIGM IN THE CONTEXT OF QUALITATIVE RESEARCH METHODOLOGY where she lectures on a method that can convince the science or, at the very least, to propose a scientific acceptance of the concepts of C. G. Jung's Analytical Psychology. This article aims to dialogue with this work by Penna (2005) about the paradigms she establishes, namely: ontological perspective, possibility of knowledge and, finally, the apprehension and understanding of phenomena to cut out in the end Jung's archetype that is presented by Penna (2005) as a virtualization of reality that becomes real to the individual who will return this reality to society and, with this, an archepic social reality will be formed. In this trip, the apprehension of the empirical reality of the social environment is understood by the individual in the way that his unconscious drives drive his conscious acceptance without any moral crisis, as the method in question annulled the individual's superego to return to the environment what he idealized as real and establish in the social such archetypal reality composed of similar archetypes of other individuals also driven; similar, since equality is not a reality in the ideological field. Finally, a Kantian metaphysics will be established, which Penna (2005) reconfigures at the beginning of her work in order to adapt it to the validation of her main hypothesis at the end.
