This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the international literature on the use of poultry waste (chicken bed) for food production in the period 2019 to 2024. For this, the search for the articles was carried out in the Web of Science database (WOS), with the following string: (“poultry litter” AND “soil” AND “manure”). The information was processed in the software R (Bibliometrix package) and VOSviewer. The following indicators were analyzed: (a) number of publications; (b) number of citations; (c) countries that contributed most; (d) most relevant journals; (e) more relevant entries; (f) more relevant authors; (g) co-authorship; (h) most cited documents; (i) keywords; (j) thematic map. Among the main results, after applying the refinement filters, the analysis was performed from 257 studies, divided into articles and review articles in English. Thus, it was possible to observe a reduction in the growth rate of the number of publications in 18.67%, the largest number of publications was in the United States and Brazil, the authors with the highest number of publications were Ashworth AJ (13 studies) and Li Y (8 studies), the most frequently the terms “manure, poultry litter, soil, nitrogen, management, phosphorus, growth, carbon, yeld and quality”, the average of citations per article was 8.595. Both the most published countries and the most relevant journals and institutions for the study had a direct relationship with the largest poultry producers in the world, such as the United States, Brazil and China.
